General Condition


A. All monetary awards shall be paid in Bulgarian currency. Exchange to any other currencies is available to the laureates.

B. The jury shall be a panel of acclaimed international specialists in the opera field. The jury decision is final and price awards shall be distributed only if, in their opinion, they are merited.
No later than May 05, 2005 a phone call, letter or e-mail shall notify every applicant about the IAMF decision to approve or disapprove his or her application.

C. Preliminary, Semi-Finals and Finals are with piano accompaniment along with provided free of charge pianist. Based on each participant’s individual request, The Inter-Atlantic Music Foundation will provide an accompanist for practice. Please note: that the cost of practice with a pianist is $10.00 (16.00 leva) per hour and it is in addition to the application fees. The contestant may also bring his or her own accompanist for practice and auditions.

D. Semi-finals and finals are open to the public. The audition order of all singers is determined by random drawing.

E. The repertoire must be performed from memory and in its original language. The laureates shall perform a gala concert with orchestra.
